Who we are

Cloudtap is better water made easy. Created by an Australian team with over 70 years of local manufacturing experience, our products are designed to filter out the headaches plumbers and homeowners have been putting up with for years: cheap imports, inflated commissions, 3-hour installs, opaque pricing, high-pressure sales, the lot.

We build high-quality water filtration systems designed and customised for Australian homes, tested to the same standards as national infrastructure.

Cloudtap combines all the lessons we’ve learned from decades in manufacturing, sales, plumbing, home improvements, and Australian business. Whole-home water filters aren’t groundbreaking technology, but we’ve spotted some opportunities for innovation in the places that matter.

Cloudtap is built by 4N, the same company that’s been building infrastructure for WA’s Water Corporation and major gas companies for decades. We’re not using cheap knockoffs from overseas— our units are literally built downstairs!

But... why?

Why filter every drop—not just your drinking water?

Most people think about water filtration in terms of what comes out of the tap, fills their glass, and goes into their body. The truth is, you use far more water for showering, bathing, cooking, and cleaning than you ever pour into a glass. If that water isn’t filtered at the source, your family—and your home—are still exposed to the chemicals and complications pumping through your pipes.

Chlorine doesn’t stop at the kitchen tap

Chlorine is great for killing germs in the mains supply, but it’s not so great for your skin, hair, eyes, or lungs. In the shower, chlorine can strip away natural oils, leaving your skin dry and itchy and making your hair more brittle and prone to breakage. It can also create vapours you breathe in every day, irritating your insides and increasing your risk of some nasty health issues.
